Pera Grave

A noble and elegant wine. A remarkable wine produced by the creek of Peramanca. Features a loaded color, an aroma of ripe grape and jams, and a round and firm body with good tannins and a long and pleasant aftertaste.

Vinification: After 2 days of cold maceration to enrich the flavours, the fermentation was run for 6 days at 24°c with delestage to facilitate the extraction of colour and tannins.
Maturation: The wine, after malolactic fermentation, aged 18 months in barrels of French and American oak.
Colour: Intense Ruby
Aroma: Ripe black fruits, black plum, blackberries and a perfumed nose of violets, proper of Touriga Nacional.

Tasting Notes:
Black fruits combined with elegance of the wood, round tannins and full-bodied on the mouth, elegant and persistant with a pleasant finish.

Pairing:
Serve at 18°c with hunting dishes or red meats. For immediate consumption, but can be kept up to 10 years in good condition.

Vinification: After 2 days of cold skin contact, the wine fermentation occurred in 8 days at 24°c with reassembly of the must.

Aroma: Very ripe black fruit well married with discreet aroma of wood giving it complexity.

Tasting Notes:
The first feeling is ripe black fruit and chocolate, progressing to the complexity given by wood aging. The well presented tannins are soft giving a velvety body to the wine leading to an elegant finishing.

Pairing:
Serve at 18°c with hunting dishes or condimented red meats. For immediate consumption, but can be kept over the next five years.
